ShiFTable
Bespoke Table Design
Inspired by Nordic style furniture, ShiFTable born. ShiFTable is a table customized for my client, Auntie Annie. The table fulfilled her demands on putting her portable sewing machine, having a storage space to put sewing kits, caster wheels and an extendable table.
There are two reasons I give ShiFTable as the name of my furniture. Firstly, the meaning of the word “shiftable” is movable, which is one of the features of the table. Secondly, when the top of the alphabets “F” and “T” connected, they looked like my table when it is extended. To make it move easily and light, the design of ShiFTable is simple and minimalist.
